Heartbroken, the old dog collapsed after being kicked out of the house, lying in wait for death.

Instead of being at home with his family, the elderly dog was abandoned in the garden. The poor puppy had to put up with the rain and the cold. He was hungry and his joints hurt. The dog had already passed out by the time a rescue group was contacted and arrived to help. They wept for him believing he had just passed away. The elderly canine was still alive when one of the rescuers got close by! The dog strained to hang on even though his body appeared stiff and was leaning over the side of the kennel.

Thankfully, this older boy was given another chance. The elderly man’s life expectancy was unknown, but they couldn’t let him pass away in this manner! The dog was taken, and they named him Kesto. Kesto’s family left without even saying goodbye to him since they no longer wanted him. He had committed all of those priceless years to them, but they had no regard for him. How wicked!

Kesto was escorted to the veterinarian, who provided an honest evaluation of his health. Kesto was at least 15 years old and would not be a combative patient, the doctor said. He wanted Kesto to be comfortable and content. The elderly dog had a sizable tumor in his abdomen and was hypothermic. Internal bleeding was being caused by the bulk. Warm saline solution was administered to Kesto in order to treat his hypothermia. In addition, he received medicine to control the bleeding.

Kesto recovered remarkably in just two hours. even able to raise his head. He was healthy enough, according to the veterinarian, to be accepted into care. A volunteer with the rescue team. She was thrilled to bring him home because she loved ancient dogs. Kesto delighted in his expensive first proper supper. He adored it!

His new foster mom then showed him where he could sleep. Right next to his new foster brother, cozy inside the house! Kesto had never imagined that living in a house could be so idyllic. He felt comfortable, his tummy was full and he had a soft bed to lie on. For the first time in his life he fell asleep happily.

Kesto’s new mother understood he wasn’t going to live for very long. She wanted to give him everything she had to offer in order for him to go with fond memories. She made it a point to provide him affection and treats each day. She even took her new sibling on brief walks. He was quite joyful. Even while his new mother was watching TV, he was lying on the couch.

The large puppy had a few more weeks to live. Kesto got the opportunity to experience what a dog’s life should be like, but of course we would have preferred for him to live longer. And that was all the kind lad wished for.

Sweet Kesto, rest in peace. We won’t forget you. I’m extremely grateful to Kesto’s rescuer and foster parents! We are overjoyed that he was allowed to pass away in a loving environment!
